Good Bugs, Bad Bugs on Edible Plants
Description: Before you grab insecticide to rid your vegetable garden from all those creeping, crawling, flying bugs, learn to separate the "good bugs" from the "bad bugs.” You will learn how to identify the most common and destructive pests on edible plants and how to identify beneficial insects that will help your edible garden thrive. This free class is offered through South San Francisco Parks and Recreation.
Master Gardener Presenters: Eliana Bushwalter and Sharon Winnike have been UC Master Gardeners of San Mateo and San Francisco Counties since 2018 and 2010, respectively. They are committed to using Integrated Pest Management (IPM) to manage the good bugs and bad bugs in their own gardens.
